We received the news with great sorrow that a bomb attack on a bus carrying civilians on Herat-Kandahar Highway resulted in loss of lives of many and left many others wounded.
We are concerned by the increase of terror attacks at a time when the election campaign period has started and the peace process efforts have reached to an advance level in Afghanistan.
We strongly condemn this terrorist attack and wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, speedy recovery to the wounded, and convey our condolences to the friendly Government and the brotherly people of Afghanistan.
